Instagram: February 2015

Sorting through all of the papers I saved for the year is never fun, but necessary for taxes.  This year, I was rewarded for my trouble with this gift card that I accidentally left in a Mother's Day card.  #thanksmomanddad

We have a Math Einstein!  Easton has been working so hard to pass of all of the 1st grade math facts in 1 minute.  Practice pays off!

You know how you buy green onions because you need 2 Tbsp for that recipe? I always chop up all the rest and freeze for later.  They work perfectly in dishes that you are going to cook (not so great as baked potato toppings). My happy hint for the day. #happyhint

One cool cat. (glasses courtesy of Kendree)

A Broncos valentine box for our true fan. #hesalreadythinkginaboutnextyear

Normal cheetah print shirt with gray tone cheetah print pants was an obvious choice for Kendree today.  Not pictured: the cheetah print purse she carried everywhere we went.  Love her.

This beauty is 4 months old today! She sleeps through the night, lights up when she sees any human face and refuses to nap unless she is in her swing, car seat, or someone's arms.  But that sleeping through the night thing makes up for everything else.

Happy Birthday to our ferocious, fantastic, fiery, fabulous, fun-loving FIVE year old!

We did the majority of the celebrating on Saturday with extended family, and kept it simple today, but I'd say Kendree had a pretty great 5th birthday.

Celebrating 10 years with this wonderful guy today! Seems like only yesterday, and yet I can't remember what life was like without him.  So grateful for his love, his faith, his hard work, his apologies ;) and everything about him.

The girls are officially all in the same room! Kendree and Devynee couldn't be more excited about their bunk bed (and Easton couldn't be more jealous). Brynlee is sleeping in there at night like a champ, but we still have some work to do for naps.

These flowers have been brightening my house for over a week now.  The smell of the lilies is divine. #thanksron

Someone found the mascara...

Friends. This was a big day. While an excellent nighttime sleeper, Brynlee has only wanted to nap while being held, in a swing or in her car seat for several months.  I finally seem to have found the trick. Swaddling.  I know, I know, should have tried it sooner, but I've always swaddled at night and not in the day (to set the night "apart" if you will). Here's to continued success!

Random February 2015

Devynee wanted a picture next to Brynlee one day. I loved both of these.

A little sisterly snow play.

Cool cat Brynlee.

I bought Kendree a pair of cheetah print leggings on sale.  As soon as she saw them, she started telling me all about this outfit.  Her cheetah print shirt with perfectly with them (obviously) and every where we went, she carried a cheetah print purse as well (not pictured).

On Kendree's birthday, Devynee demanded a picture by the birthday signs as well.

On Kendree's birthday, Grandma and Grandpa Wyo stayed after the party and Grandpa helped Ron put together the girls' new bunk bed!

We also transitioned the crib back into an actual crib (it was a toddler bed for Devynee before) and got it all ready for Brynlee to sleep in there at night.

A quick shot of Brynlee at her four month appointment.

Devynee was there too...

One morning I left my mascara on the counter a little too long and Devynee came in like this.

Two cute girls.

And one more.

These next pictures were taken by Devynee.  I always love the different perspective on an everyday time.

That is Kendree laying next to her, with a blue shirt on and pink pants (hard to tell unless you know).

And now a hug.

Blurry baby.

Taking a nap, in her crib! Success!

Kendree's 5th Birthday!

We celebrated Kendree's birthday with family on Saturday, February 14th. Grandma and Grandpa Wyo, Sarah, Adam, Alicia and Todd where there. Uncle Jordan came late as well.

She was spoiled rotten, of course.

I made cake inside of soup cans (all the kids thought that was very silly) and then stuck some Frozen figures on top.  Olaf is there as well, just hidden behind the 5 candle.

We also had some Frozen cupcakes (thank you Sam's Club cupcake kit that was on mega clearance).

And a video of the singing:

After the party was over, Grandpa stayed for a few hours (probably longer than he was hoping to) and helped Ron put the bunk beds together.

On Kendree's actual birthday (February 17th) she woke up to birthday signs (of course) and was able to wear the "birthday girl" pin to preschool.  Mom brought in chocolate donuts for everyone in preschool as well, which she thought was pretty great.

That night, we sang to her again and put her candle in another chocolate donut.

We hope that she had a great day, because we sure think she is GREAT! Kendree has a lot of spunk that will serve her well in life.  She loves to snuggle and is quick to compliment.  She will compliment anyone (stranger, teacher, other adult, kid, etc. it doesn't matter) on what they are wearing, their accessories, and anything she thinks is beautiful. She has a very active imagination and is a joy to be around.
