I'm a few days behind, but it is March, which means it is time for my annual speed reading of the Book of Mormon. I'm giving myself a little leeway this year, what with a newborn and all. Join me! It's one of my favorite times of the year. {graphic found at themormonhome.com}
Whitnee has had lots of Grandparent loves! Grandma and Grandpa Lindstrom are favorites of everyone.
A few Sydnee and Hallee shenanigans. Sydnee is OBSESSED with shoes currently and is always tromping around the house in someone else's shoes. Hallee likes to wear the Build-A-Bear glasses. Sydnee hanging out on dad's feet, putting on extra shirts and getting into mom's mascara. Never a dull moment around here!
Hallee has decided that she doesn't need her special "kitty" because she has LOTS of stuffed animals and Whitnee doesn't have any. She has been very dedicated to making sure the no matter where Whitnee moves, kitty moves with her. It is quite possibly the cutest thing!
We loved our time with Grandma Lopez! It was wonderful to have her help and company. We sure were sad to see her go!
A little post bath fluffy hair! This little doll is still the star of the show around here and now she has siblings here all of the time to love on her. Mama loves the extra sets of hands to hold and soothe. It's a pretty sweet gig all around.
Whitnee is ONE month old today! Man, that went fast! Whitnee is a very content baby. She gets lots of attention and seems to love it. She is sleeping like a newborn, but not horribly. I get 3-4 hour stretches pretty regularly and I'll take it. We had her weighed today and she is a whopping 7 lbs. 7.5oz . Petite but right on her own little growth curve. With her arrival 11 days early, mom did not finish the last quilt, so Whitnee got her pictures on top of the quilt top and mom hopes to complete the rest of the quilt before she is two months old.
Whitnee continues to be loved on at all times. Easton was all dressed up on Sunday, including a handmade mustache and it begged to be documented. Brynlee also loves to hold Whitnee any chance she can. Hallee loves the dinosaur costume she made in her Koala crate this month. Such a cute girl!
Someone found mom's makeup today! Someone is also really good at quietly exploring when mom is occupied with Whitnee. Good thing she's cute!

February 2020
My kids love the color me dolls that Aunt Aubrey makes. Devynee wanted a picture with her Moana doll before I washed it.
A few more pictures of sweet Whitnee in the hospital.
One of the kids took this picture in the hospital.
Whitnee enjoying her hearing test.
Sweet sleeping baby.
Hallee tried on a few glasses when Devynee was picking her new classes up.
Mama snuggles for Sydnee.
And then some snuggles with Whitnee.

Finished the baby girl "everyday" quilt today! Always feels so good to finish a project and check something off the list.
Two more baby projects complete! This is all you'll see for a bit, as the last quilt is far from done. Crib bumpers and a crib skirt. Now to see which gender of stuff I will use!
Yesterday was the 100th day of school for Brynlee and she got to dress up like she was 100 years old. She loved the idea until she saw the wrinkles I drew on, then she wasn't such a fan.
36 weeks with a cute photo bomber! I can't believe the little one will be here in 4 short weeks. I'm feeling good, but definitely big enough that I have to wake up to turn over at night. Baby is super active but made his/her way back to head down the week. Now, the nesting can begin!
37 weeks! Feeling pretty good! Baby is super active and sitting very low. My to-do list is shrinking while I am definitely not. I'm starting to look forward to baby snuggles and a slower pace of life.
Thanks to a birthday/Christmas gift from Grandma Lopez, Ronnie and Easton were able to go to the Lakers/Nuggets game this week. The weather and drive down were horrible but the overtime outcome was great! They had a great time!
Our Kendree turned 10 today! She got two celebrations, one with extended family yesterday and one with our family today! As she was headed to bed she told me this was her best birthday ever, so I think we succeeded. Kendree is the best big sister. She can legitimately take care of any member of the family and do an amazing job. She loves making friends and chatting with everyone and we love her enthusiasm for life! Happy Birthday Kenny-girl!
We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Whitnee Keri Lopez! She arrived at 3:36am on 02/20/2020 at 6 lb. 9 oz. and 19.5 inches. Mama and baby are doing great and excited to be home from the hospital. The kids adore her and she never wants for willing hands to hold her. We are all smitten and love our Whitnee!
We sure have been loving our time with sweet Miss Whitnee!
A little Sydnee update. Sydnee is getting better and better at talking but still does the entire upper body not for the word "yes." She loves her siblings and is quick to tackle and wrestle anyone remotely at her level. Hallee and Sydnee were cute to snuggle together and watch a show. One day as I was making lunch, it was quiet but I assumed Syd had made her way to the girls room to help herself to their toys. I walked into the family room to find her crashed out on the floor.
Devynee got two new pairs of glasses today! She is having the hardest time deciding which ones to wear to school tomorrow!
The kids got to come meet Whitnee in the hospital on 02/20/2020 Sydnee LOVED her (as did everyone else) and cried and cried when it was Grandma's turn to hold the baby. It was so fun to watch everyone ooh and aah over their new sister.
Our first picture as a family of NINE! Nine. So amazing and so crazy! Love these kids and the life we have with them. Taken 02/20/2020.
Kendree played city rec basketball this year and enjoyed it! It was fun watching her and her teammates improve through the season!
Easton also enjoyed playing basketball this season. He has spent time perfecting his game and shot and it has shown through the season.
Today (2/29) is my kids favorite day, Leap Day I feed them ice cream for dinner. As much as they want with all the toppings. These kinds of traditions are the ones I live for. Easy, and I only have to do it once every four years. Before baby Whitnee arrived, the kids expressed concern that I might be in the hospital on Leap Day and who would remember to feed them ice cream for dinner.
We can't get enough of this sweet little one, as evidenced by Sydnee's face in the second picture.
