We ran over to the county fair to check out Kendree's elephant artwork and Devynee's seal. They were so excited to find them! We also enjoyed checking out all the animals!

Checked off the last two "destinations" on our summer list with a visit to the state capitol building and the state museum today. We got some walking in and got to practice our "inside voices" a lot. Since we were the youngest people in the capitol by about 50 years, we livened the place up a bit.

I hope she never stops smiling this squinchy-nosed smile!

Had the best time today at the @simplyonpurpose workshop in Denver. Learned so much and Ronnie and I are ready to step up our parenting game. A major bonus was seeing Bethany and Casey Jackman.

Big news in the Lopez household!

One of our last summer hurrahs was a tie dye session. The kids loved it and mom even survived.  The laundry of 8 tie dye shirts (mom and dad's not pictured) is northing to scoff at.

We spent the morning teaching Devynee to ride a two-wheeler. By the end of our 1.5 hours there, she was riding like a pro! The rest of the kids enjoyed getting one paved road riding in as well.  Probably one of the only downsides of where we lives is the dirt roads for biking. Especially when you are just learning.

First day of school! We have 6th, 4th, 2nd and Pre-K this year. Hallee also needed to hold a sign, though "mom school" is the only school she's attending. They were all so excited and ready to go! Mom only teared up waling out of the building so we're calling that a win.

Sydnee is 11 months old! She is such a joy! Especially now that she is sleeping through the night. Sydnee was sleep trained this month and had a few rough nights but is doing great now. She naps like a champ. Sleeps for two hours in the morning and then 2-3 hours in the afternoon. Sydnee still uses army crawling as her main way to get around. She goes everywhere in the house and is happy to find her own mischief. Sydnee's hair is thickening and she is getting a little different look about her. Maybe a little more Lindstrom in there? Sydnee loves to eat real food and is less and less interested in baby food. She doesn't have any teeth so she gums it all with the best of them. We all love her and the kids fight to entertain her!

Happy Birthday to Ronnie! We had a low-key day but it hopefully wasn't too disappointing for the birth boy. I loved how all kids (that were able to) congregated around him for the opening of presents. Also, the kids helped me make signs to hang up and the list Kendree made had me laughing out loud. "Stricked!" (Strict).  We love our Daddy!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day! The only picture I took was with my wonderful mom! I have amazing mothers in my life. My Mom, my mother-in-law, my grandmas, sisters, sister-in-laws and so many wonderful mothers I'm not technically related to. I love that we get to celebrate one another on this day, and I love the six little ones that I am blessed to mother in my own home.

Easton's track meet was this week. He competed in the shuttle relay, the 45m hurdles and the softball throw. This team was winning by a long shot at the relay when their anchor tripped and fell. So sad! They still took 3rd. In the hurdles, he won his heat and took 5th overall and he had a great throw in the softball throw but didn't place. It was a sunny, warm beautiful day and we had a great time!

On May 18th, my brother, Adam, graduated with his MBA. It was great to be there to support him Especially because it was in the Arena Auditorium and concessions were open. When was the last time you had nachos at a graduation?

Good morning from Cheyenne! (May 21st).

Happy Birthday Sydnee! I can NOT believe you are one. This year has flown by. Well, except for those months of 3-4 times a night wakings. Anyway, we love you sweet girl! Can't wait for our celebration with family this weekend.

Easton earned some major favorite brother points when he volunteered to help Brynlee paint her nails today.

Kendree had her presentation on the Keefe Cottage on May 24th and did awesome! IT was fun to learn about the history of buildings around Cheyenne!

Also, on May 24th, Easton had a band concert. He is in the red shirt (Back row, second from left) playing trumpet.  He is doing great!

Sydnee got her party today! She loved her cake! The first two pictures are from when she first saw it and then when we made her wait while we sang Happy Birthday. She thoroughly enjoyed as much as we let her have!

Sydnee didn't do much unwrapping, and once she unwrapped the baby bottle she never let it go, but she was spoiled by those that love her!

We loved having Grandma with us over the long weekend! Any time with her is so wonderful!

The three little girls and I were able to join in on Devynee's field trip to the Terry Bison Ranch. We had a great time and the baby bison were the cutest!

I wonder where Hallee is hiding!?!?! I love how little kids play hide and seek.
