Random updates from November 2014

A video of the kids dancing during the opening music of Girl Meets World.

All the girls in pink:

Naked Baby

The first smile caught on camera.  In the church mother's lounge, no less.

Cheesing - showing off her new coat from Aunt Kari.

We forgot to do the pinata on Devynee's birthday, so a little Thanksgiving pinata fun was in order.  Whoever invented the pull-string pinatas is my best friend.  If they come forward, I will take them out to lunch. Basically, each kid chooses a string, pulls as hard as they can, and either the string pops off, or the bottom of the pinata bursts open.

 Kendree's string was the winner!

I got my craft on and made a set of Minifolk. I love them.

We went to the UW game over Thanksgiving break.

The girls and Ron and I sat up top (Brynlee in her car seat not pictured).

While Easton sat down lower in the good seats with Uncle Jordan.  I had to get a picture of him after the game was over.

When we walked back to the car, the lights on the football field were on, so Easton and Kendree took the opportunity to run and run and run.  And then mom took their picture.

Brynlee all dressed for her first day of church! (We even all survived!)

First real snow of the year means you have to go play!

My littlest sidekick accompanied me to vote today. I love our country!

Happy Wednesday! #threeweeksold

I don't know what I would do without my big helpers! But seriously, Kendree held Brynlee for 30 minutes yesterday and put her to sleep while I did dishes.

After cleaning and bagging 80 lbs. of chicken yesterday, I decided to inventory my freezer. As it turns out, I have a LOT of food in there.

One month old today. Doesn't seem possible, and yet it feels like she's been here forever. #especiallyifitrytoremembersleepingthroughthenight

After purposely dressing the older girls to match, Brynlee and I matched by happy accident.  We were all in pink for church and it begged to be documented.

I "should" be starting dinner, but I just can't put this snuggly little doll down.

We made it all the way to 5 weeks before our first blow out! #diaperingskillsofaseasonedmother #morelikedumbluck

I gave into Kendree's many requests to see my American Girl doll today and pulled Kirsten out of boxes.  As it turns out, I'm still just as possessive of her now as I was as a 10 year old. #inmydefensetheydontevenmakeheranymore #iveneverbeenthishovering

Happy Birthday to our terrific, talkative, treat-loving, three year old! We sure love her and all the fun she brings to our family!

Thank goodness Kendree took this from a modest perspective...Now to get better at locking my phone.

I bet this isn't part of your thanksgiving dinner. #mybrotherisweird #andawesome

Photo Shoot and Birth Announcement

Mom had to try her hand at some photography for Brynlee's birth announcements.  It made me really miss my big camera - as I was shooting with my iphone 5. (These were taken 10/26/14)

She wasn't too happy at first.  Too cold, I think.

So, I brought up the space heater and got this part of the house very warm and she calmed right down.

Little toes, scaly feet. :)

Profile shot.

Ronnie's sister designed the birth announcement, which I love.  Thanks Aunt Kari!

Devynee turns 3!

We had our family party for Devynee the day before her birthday (November 22nd) - she wore her "birthday girl" ribbon all day long.

Grandma and Grandpa Wyo, Sarah, Jordan, Adam, Alicia and Todd joined us for a lunch, presents and cake.

The superhero cape and mask were a hit and worn immediately!

Squinkies were another hit (she loved all of her presents, but these were documented).

She wanted a Doc McStuffins cake this year and I tried my hand at a tall cake. She was thrilled.

And a video of the singing:

Three is a hard age, both for mom and kid, but we sure love this big three year old!
