The New House: December 2015

This month, was a bit slow in the progress department.

We had garage doors installed, and the only pictures I got of them where in the dark.  Awesome.

We got everything all approved and ready for insulation and dry wall - including the central vacuum system being installed. At the end of December, I walked around and took a few pictures.

At the very end of the month, the stucco company began working on the outside of the house.  It's nice to have some visible progress.

 By the 31st, we were all wrapped and styrofoam was going up.

Random December 2015

When Easton needed a trim in early December, he convinced Ron to give him a "mo-hog" (his word). This lasted until a day before his baptism.

The first and second grade had a concert in December.  Mom got to attend and watch him shine!

 Due to the fact that you can't really see him in the big picture, I snagged one in the hallway of the school.

Brynlee spent forever climbing up and down on this box, she thought she was pretty hot stuff.

Brynlee loves pulling bandaids out of the box and putting them back in.  I don't know why, but she will do it for a long, long time!

This happy energetic, sports-loving boy turned EIGHT today! I can't believe it. Love him to bits and pieces (Lego pieces if he has a say in it).

Yesterday, this boy was baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are so proud of him and his decision. It was a great day with lots of family and friends (and pictures - you've been warned).

Both sets of Easton's grandparents were able to be with us. So wonderful to have such great people as examples for him.

The whole family! So crazy to think that I'm old enough to have an 8 year old! He is a great big brother and good example to his sisters.

We also had our ward Christmas party yesterday evening and these kids got to visit with Santa. Brynlee was about as excited as any one year old should be.

To say that Devynee changes clothes several times a day is an understatement. I have a pile of her daily rejects everyday in the hall. Today, her outfit choice was an Ariel swimsuit, snow boots on the wrong feet, a puffy vest and a hat. Logical, no?

My craft for the season. Thanks to Jill Reading for the idea (wish sick kids wouldn't have kept you home) and Chelsea Eyre for the company. So much better than crafting alone.

This cheesy grin girl got her first tooth on December 23rd! Hooray! 14.5 months is not even the latest teether in our family (Devynee was over 15 months). If you know where to look (bottom right tooth) you can even kind of spot it in this picture.

We have entered the worth of rubber band bracelets. Heaven help us...

The kids are loving The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel game! They can play it without my supervision and everyone is happy. [just as I was about to post this, the 4 year old had a teary melt down. Turns out she had been winning (3 games in a row) and had just taken her first loss.]
