Instagram: January 2020

The beginning of January, I was able to get away to Vegas with my dear college roommates. Any time I can spend with Bethany, Cheryl and Carissa is time well spent. I loved every second of our gab sessions, walking the strip, the temple, Mat Franco, and lots and lots of food! Thanks to Ron and the Cali family for making it possible. It was such a rejuvenating time!

34 weeks in all its glory! This little boy or girl is so active! At times I feel like he/she is trying to legitimately break out through my skin. I'm feeling pretty good. Heartburn and more pelvic pain are a staple but nothing that medicine, stretches and my Deep Blue rub can't fix! Can't wait to welcome this little one into our family!

35 weeks! The weeks are officially flying by at this point. I prefer to not think about how soon this baby will get here (although I am SOOOO excited to meet him or her) and instead power through the eternally long list of projects I have in my head. This baby continues to be so active and even turned transverse for a few days last week (most uncomfortable thing ever). I continue to feel really good except the thought of bending over repeatedly (picking up toys) is so overwhelming at the moment. Good thing I have six good kid helpers around here!

Most of you know that I have sewn quilts, loveys and crib bedding for all my kids. Baby number 7 is no different. I have an entire set of boy projects that have been done since I was pregnant with Devynee (8+ years ago). So, it was time to work on girl projects. So far, I'm about halfway done with four things but I completed a minky blanket and lovey and had to document.

Sydnee and Hallee hanging out with Aunt Katie at Grandma's house.

Ronnie met up with Candice and Uncle Tony as well!

We are quite the circus on flights as we line up our ducklings behind daddy (who is carrying two car seats) and then get settled in three different rows.

When you get home at 2:30 am in the morning, this is what the bag drop looks like.

Brynlee selfie!

And Brynlee also wanted us to see her Frozen shoes.

Easton and his Sunday school class got to build the Tree of Life out of legos. They did an awesome job.

We got some new IKEA shelving units to organize toys downstairs and dad had LOTS of helpers as he put them together.

Easton played basketball for Afflerbach this year. They played hard all season and ended up 4-1.

On 11/29, Sydnee decided to be a walker. She now practices everywhere she goes and is getting better and better!

Happy Birthday to Easton! We were able to celebrate him Sunday with family and today as well! Easton is a great big brother who loves nothing more than to play any sport and tease and wrestle with this sisters. We appreciate his example and hard work around the house and loved celebrating him today!

28 weeks! Time is seriously flying. Baby looks good (we had to get a second ultrasound due to positioning and lack of a good look at the spine before) and is moving around like crazy. I am feeling good for the most part. Energy is still high. I have had some right hip/leg issues with several of my pregnancies in my 30s and this one is no different. I know they will resolve as soon as the baby is born though, so we power through. Heart burn is also rearing its head more than I remember with other babies. Fingers crossed for a full head of hair!

We got to visit with the real Santa tonight at our ward Christmas party. Always fun to torture the little ones with this tradition.

Santa Letters 2019.

Brynlee had a parent observation night at ballet. She looks forward to Wednesdays all week long and loves every minute of ballet.

Kendree had an orchestra concert on 12/16 (she is in red in the back) and did great. She is loving the violin.

Merry Christmas Sunday from our family to yours! I sure do love these matchy-match kids of mine. How many more years do you think I can pull it off?

Cute kids by the Christmas tree!

Getting to see Chels and her crew makes my heart sing! It was the perfect Christmas present. While I love that we can sit down at Chic-fil-a and it's like she never left, the goodbye part of the day is the hardest! Love ya Chels!

Aunt Sarah came to spend the day with us! We love every minute. Sarah is everyone's favorite. Hallee spent a good 15 minutes trying to negotiate for her to keep at our house. She had it all figured out (down to pajamas and toothbrushes). So great to spend time with this amazing sister of mine!

Last week, I hit 30 weeks with this pregnancy. My mind can't process how fast this is blowing by. I will have a snuggly new will babe before I know it! Still feeling really good minus the right leg pain (pelvis keeps popping out) and the heartburn (Time and I are BFFs currently). Can't wait to meet this little one!

Christmas Eve was a low-key day. We played games, ate our Savior Supper, acted out the nativity and then drove to look at lights. A great family day, just the way we like it. Dad-narrator, Mom-shepherd, Easton-wiseman, Kendree-Mary, Devynee-wiseman and angel, Brynlee-donkey, Hallee-Joseph, Sydnee-Baby Jesus

I snuck in after Santa was here to take some quick pictures!

A few shots from Christmas morning. Sydnee wore her cape all day long and enjoyed exploring everyone's gifts. It was a great day!

A few more shots from Christmas morning.

We had so much fun in Cali. Park time with cousins, play time at Grandma's, sidewalk chalk and time together enjoying the warm weather!

We were in California for long enough to make time to see friends! Ronnie was able to meet up with three different friends from high school (no picture with Nicole-sorry!) and one of our college friends! Always so great to see people who "knew you when."

Great Aunt Sandy took the family to the Great Wolf Lodge on New Years Eve and spoiled us rotten. The kids got stuffed animals, glitter tattoos bracelets, arcade time, candy, a magician show, and a 9pm balloon drop. It was a wonderful time!
