Random Pictures from October 2017

The only shot I got of Brynlee with her pumpkin this year.  The girl can mess up a hair-do like nobody's business.

A rare picture of all five kids.

I was trying to take a picture of Hallee's beloved blanket for Aunt Alisa so she could make me the "travel" sized one, but Hallee refused to have the blanket on the ground without her on it.

A little halloween book reading by Hallee.

My brother Jordan and his buddy worked hard on our rock retaining wall this fall.  It allows us to have a flat portion of the front yard where we will put sod. It looks great!

Who doesn't love more soccer pictures? Devynee is in the maroon hat.

Kendree really improved this year.

The things our aunts make...

The kids were spoiled with handmade gifts for Christmas...

Like these dinosaur hats from Aunt Alisa (how I managed to capture both kids eyes in the exact same position of "roll back," I have no idea).

And Aunt Aubrey made the kids these awesome (and WELL used) robes! My favorite thing about the robes?  I can use them to get the kids out of the tub whenever I want.  Wearing the robes is as fun as playing in the tub.
Aubrey also made our family an entire matching ensemble to wear to church, but we took pictures in genders, to make things easier.

The boys sporting their matching ties.
And the girls with their pillowcase dresses and mama's pin.
I'm just excited that someone has time to be crafty (even if I don't). :)

I've done the hard work...

As long as hard work=finding the cutest, easiest flower for you to crochet.  You'll still have to actually crochet these puppies yourself though!  I used many a youtube tutorial, but this one is the best.  The flowers come together in a snap and you aren't cursing your crochet hook by the time you are done.

I made about 30 of these total, but I decided you didn't need to see a picture of all 30, I'm sure 8 will suffice.
 Close up!
And one on our pretty little model (ignore that the flower doesn't match and the dirty face).  Obviously she was a little hungry as she was signing "food" when I took the picture.
