Easton's Last Day of Preschool

At the end of May, Easton had his last day of the Title 1 preschool program run through the school district. We loved Miss Donna and Miss Sara

This picture was obviously brought to you by the letter H.

Then everyone wanted in on the photo op.

We gave each teacher a thank you for a terrific year!
See Easton's first day here.

The Farm - May 2013

We were looking for some fun, and decided to go to this place called "The Farm." We were lucky to go with Grandma and Grandpa Wyo, and Aunt Erica, Uncle Dan, Alayna and Brylen and Aunt Alicia and Todd.

The first stop was the turkey pen.  You should have seen the kids jump back the first time one gobbled.

Brylen loved all the animals.

We never really know what Kendree is thinking with her poses, but they are always fabulous.

And cute miss Alayna.

And Easton, who was too busy driving to bother looking at the camera.

Much to my surprise, Devynee loved the animals.  Our kids are kind of scaredy cats.

 Don't be fooled, Easton never did touch an animal while we were there. In fact, when Ronnie asked him what his favorite animal was, he answered "The pigs."  Then Ron asked him why and he said, "Because they were the farthest away from the fence."

Obligatory "proof we were there shots"

Ron turns 32!

We had a pretty low-key day for Ronnie's birthday, but we did enjoy some German Chocolate Cake. I think as long as we have kids under the age of 5, we can guarantee that we will never blow out our own candles

We sure are glad that we got to celebrate our daddy!

Random Catch Up May 2013

Easton played spring soccer (same team as the fall).  He loved it.  Mom vowed to never play soccer again. It was freezing and with all of the snow we got it became such a chore.  Easton really gained confidence and started going after the ball more aggressively.

It was time for a summer haircut so we first gave Easton a mohawk...

And then shaved it all off.

Both Easton and Kendree did swim lessons, but the only proof I have is this blurry picture of Easton jumping in on the "free" day (yellow life jacket).

Devynee continued to love, love, love ranch dressing.

We have this Uncle Jordan, who creates things with Legos that my kids play with for hours.

This particular creation was worthy of some photos.

First, we see the bathroom - note the toilet, toilet paper roll, plunger, and sink.

Directly to the left of that is the kitchen, with microwave.

Then we see the bed,

And then the living room, with couch, television and computer.

The view from the top.

For the fun of it, he also created a soda fountain and vending machine.

And here we see that very Uncle Jordan, trying to blow out his candles before the kids can.

Random Catch Up Spring 2013

 Two cute girls in the bath.

Devynee and me.

 Matchy match.

Sometimes Kendree's clothing has to be documented.

Ron played softball again this spring and summer.  Easton loves to watch.  And I mean actually watches every minute and then wants to rehash it afterward.

To say we got a lot of snow in Cheyenne this spring is a bit of an understatement.

We did swimming lessons and Kendree had a hard time staying awake on the drive home.

One night we had spaghetti and my kids personalities were really shining.

Kendree = messy

Easton = clean

Devynee = even more messy

Easton and I traveled down to Denver to see Mary Poppins.  It was fantastic and he loved it.  My favorite was trying to explain that we weren't going to watch something on the curtain covering the stage, the curtain was going to move and people were going to be on the stage.

Projects

It has been a while since I've had time to do some sewing, but a few months ago I got on a kick.

I finally finished that Christmas pillow that I talked about when making my Thanksgiving pillow.

Then I decided to make a table runner for St. Patrick's Day.  One can never have too many table runners.
