Spent the weekend of the 4th at one of my favorite places on earth!
These two (Todd and Devynee) have a comstly confrontational relationship, but every once in a while, they play like the best of friends. It begs to be documented.
Also included in the trip: a hike to the pond to throw some rocks, grandpa spraying the thistles every chance he could (he'll get them all eventually) and a happy, happy baby. Not pictured: 4-wheeler rides like crazy, BB gun shooting, fireworks and general fun!
After our fun weekend, this is how we all felt, but Dev was the one who got to take a nap while we drove home.
After a few weeks of knee pain that kept me down, I'm back to running again. Jury is out on whether I will EVER be able to say I enjoy it, but after 4+ months at least I don't want to die anymore. Also a special thanks to Rory and Lorelai for the company.
The whole fam at the Rockies/Angels game! Brynlee wasn't feeling the camera, be we're excited to be here!
A little something to brighten your (and my) day! #icouldjusteatherup
A little slo-mo jump by Kendree. She is blossoming at swim and it is so fun to watch.
This little lady turned 9 months old earlier this week (the 15th) and is our ray of sunshine. Brynlee takes 2-3 naps a day and does not sleep through the night (she gave mama a nice long stint of that, but no more). She is full of smiles, patient with her many "caregivers" and loves attention. Brynlee crawls when she wants to get around and goes all over the house. Her siblings are learning to shut doors. We sure love our easy going babe!
Another year, another Cheyenne Frontier Days. I love these 10 days. Miranda Lambert with Ron. (What the out of towners don't know is that no one wears boots or hats for the rest of the year - well, almost no one).
Another CFD night, another date with my favorite. CBR for the win!
A big rain storm means playing in the gutters with friends. It doesn't get any better when you are a kid.
Yesterday we celebrated this guy. We sure do love him! I have the best dad ever. It was great to be with him on his special day. Happy Birthday Dad!
Kendree was too enthralled with the rodeo to be bothered with pictures. Brought the two oldest to the Daddy of 'em all! #CFD
Me and my oldest girly.
We roasted, but had a lot of fun at the rodeo!
Last CFD event for us for the year. A little Keith Urban is a great way to close it out in 2015!
Same picture a year later. Love them. {love when they actually get along}
A few days late, but we loved hanging with friends at the pool. Made the mamas pretty happy as well. (Minus my intense sunburn-why do I always sunscreen the kids and not myself?)
We dressed in our Minion shirts to go to the Minion movie! Despite the kids faces, they all loved it. Kendree told me that she loved it 100%! #thanksgrandmaandgrandpa

Random July
Our good friend, Damian, left his cute little cow in our basement [the place all toys to to get lost forever]. Luckily, we actually found it a few weeks later and sent a picture to him to let him know that we found it!
Easton lost his 4th tooth (upper middle left). Here's his before picture. This is a great candid smile - I love it.
Laughing boy.
And after daddy pulled it.
One night in July I went running outside and had a little pain in my left foot. Then as I was finishing up (2+ miles later) I felt like my shoe was wet. As it turned out, it wasn't wet, but bloody. I'm sorry if this grosses people out, but the fact that I can run and then run and not know that I am bleeding seems like it needs to be documented.
Cute baby, passing time in the library.
Grandma and Grandpa Cali sent all the kids Minion shirts and money to go see the Minion movie. We had a great time!

Cheyenne Frontier Days 2015
Another great CFD season this year. I know so many people in Cheyenne that hate this time of year, but I LOVE it! I figure if you live here you have to embrace it. Plus, I've been a country music fan my entire life, so it is people I actually want to see that come.
I was able to get some tickets to Miranda Lambert through my work and we lined up some friends to come with us. It was FREEZING that night (the coldest I have ever been at CFD). She was an okay show, but not what I was anticipating. That may have had something to do with the fact that she and Blake announced their divorce the next morning.
Itty-bitty Miranda.
The next week, we got tickets to see the Championship Bull Riding through Ronnie's work. It was the one night event that I had never been to. It was fun and for free it was great, but I'm not sure I would pay money on top of babysitting to go in the future.
One of the perks of CFD is that my high school friend, Jodie, comes to town. Her husband is the track announcer for the rodeos. We usually spend a few days hanging out and letting her kids get off the rodeo grounds (plus, I let her do laundry at my house - I'm an awesome friend).
One day when they were here, it rained a ton, so the kids headed out to play in the gutter (one of the best things about childhood, I think).
Ronnie's firm's rodeo tickets are just 5 rows above the shoots - the best for rodeo viewing. We took Easton and Kendree. It was boiling hot, but we had fun!
Our last hurrah was Keith Urban with friends. I made Ronnie take me on one carnival ride before this concert (next year I'm determined to get wrist bands for the kids and do more of the rides. I'm like a little kid on those).
Keith Urban was a FANTASTIC entertainer. One of the best I've ever been to. I loved it!

Brynlee: 9 months
This little lady is 9 months old! Just as much time out of mama as inside. This is always such a big milestone for me because of that. Brynlee is crawling when she wants to get around and goes all over the house. I feel like I am constantly yelling "Where's the baby?" just so one of the other kids can give me an update on her location in the house. She is so patient with all of her siblings and gets right in on the "wrestling" matches they have with her [read: they lay on the floor and let her crawl all over them]. She loves their attention and they love hers. She also love, love, loves her daddy and whines and cries if he walks past her or into a room and does not pick her up.
She is taking two naps a day and waking up 2-3 times a night. It is killing me. I'm just biding my time until she is a year so I can wean her and sleep train her. I would train her now, but she is so tiny (14 lbs. 12 oz at her 9 month appointment - not even on the charts at all) that the doctor said I have to feed her if she wakes.
Brynlee is a great baby and so good and fitting into the craziness that is our family. We love her guts!
