Swimming

Easton had his first two-week swim lesson session a few weeks ago.  Prior to that, we stayed in a hotel for mama's work meeting and we got to warm up a little.  So much of swimming is just going all of the time!  Easton was super independent with his floaties and loved kicking around.
Kendree stayed pretty close to dad.

For eight days, Kendree, Devynee and I would watch Easton swim.  The bleachers are super far away from the younger classes and this was the best picture I could get.  He is on the green noodle kicking on his back.
Devynee hung out in her carseat...
and Kendree entertained herself with stickers.

Easton didn't pass the green level yet (level 2), but he is really improving!  We'll gear up for another session in late July.

Family Pictures

Our good family friend took our family pictures over graduation weekend this year.  She is incredibly talented and I mean it.

She took this:
And was able to turn it into this:
I'll warn you now that this post has a PLETHORA of photos, but if you love me and my fam you'll love them all (and understand why I couldn't cut any more out!).

Grandkids

The two people that made this all happen. Dad, did you know your hair is not brown anymore? Sometimes it takes pictures for me to notice. :)

I just die over this one.  Kendree ADORES her brother and this picture captures it perfectly.

Devynee has to keep her eye on that older sister of hers.  You never know when that love will get a little rough.

 Kendree and "her Sarah."

I can't wait to get these in my frames! Thanks again Nicole!

From Kendree's Point of View

Kendree loves to take possession of the camera.  She will take pictures for hours (okay, in all honesty it is probably about 15 minutes, but still, you take what you can get with a toddler).
Here's a few of my favorite recent shots:

Daddy and Easton, watching a ball game of some sort.

Daddy doesn't smile like this when I take a picture...

Chubby thighs, sleeping (or wants to be sleeping) mama.

Library books. Love the tips of her shoes.

Baby sister. Mama's legs.

Living Room.

Random Picture Catch up

It's that time again! Time to catch up on all of the random things deemed cool enough to take a picture of...

One day Easton came out of the hallway and was so excited that he had cleaned up.  I walked into my room to see my shoe rack looking like this.  All of those boots were lined up nicely along the wall at one point.
He also felt like dad's shoes needed to be on just the one rack.
Kendree with her Nutella and pretzels.  One wonders if any gets in her mouth.  Clearly, no pretzels are eaten in the process.  They are just utensils.
Superhero Kendree!  Thanks for the darling masks, Jill!
When I checked on the kids before I went to bed, Kendree was hugging her new Minnie Mouse.  It was begging for a picture.
Sleeping beauty after church.  She has to nap on the couch so that she will wake up quickly and bedtime won't be a total nightmare.
We pile shoes next to the garage door (hypothetically on that rug).  Those little pink things are called "Sock Ons" and keep Devynee's socks on (really, they do what they say).  Kendree found them by the diaper changing basket and felt they needed to be next to the shoes, obviously.

Ronnie turns 31!

WAAAAY back in May, Ronnie had a birthday!
As per usual, we were busy and didn't celebrate until almost bedtime, but the kids could not let a birthday go uncelebrated (Easton kept on asking why we weren't going to Chuck E. Cheese!).

He had lots of help opening presents.
And blowing out all 31 candles.
I love this picture, both kids blowing away.
We sure do love our daddy!

Sometimes, your brother graduates from college

And sometimes, said graduation means a job offer in your very own town!
We can't wait to have Adam and Alicia (and their little bundle of boy coming in September) to be so close.  Kendree especially thinks that Alicia was made to play dolls with her in her room. She may have a hard time when Alicia has her own wittle baby to kiss on and spoil! :)

Graduation means pictures, so I give you...

Proud Mama, the Graduate, and Doctor Dad.
Grammy, Adam, Grandma and Grand Dad N.
 Adam and Alicia
Siblings (Jord-man couldn't be convinced to come, are you surprised?)
Classic jumping picture.  One must jump with joy when one is done with college.
It was great to celebrate such a great milestone with family!

Devynee - 6 months

Sweet Devynee is 6 months! (okay, so now that I am actually typing this out, she actually closer to 7 months, but we will just ignore that fact).
  • She continues to sleep through the night (usually about 9 p.m. to 7 a.m)
  • Devynee takes one 3 hour nap daily and then little cat like naps otherwise. I still need to work on an actual schedule with her, but man is it hard when your other two kids are going, or want to be going all the time.
  • She is in 3-6 month and 6 month clothes and size 2 diapers.  I have yet to put shoes on her, so I have no idea what size would fit. :)
  • Devynee likes the excersaucer, but needs a little bit of extra support with a blanket around her middle for now.
  • Devynee had her 6 month well check on June 5th and weighed in at 14 lbs. 15 oz. (30th %tile) and was 26 inches long (50th %tile).  Her head was also in the 50th %tile, but I didn't write down that measurement.
  • She is still exclusively nursing, but soon after my kids turn 6 months old, I go ahead with cereal and food, so you can look for those pictures in the 7 month update!
  • Devynee is still as content as can be.  She has learned that crying will get her somewhere and uses it more than she did in previous months, but in the grand scheme of things she is basically still an angel baby.
  • She loves attention from her brother and sister and I am amazed at what she will put up with before mom can catch on to what is happening. :)
I didn't take many pictures this month, so I'll apologize now.

Fell asleep in the middle of the living room floor.  Kids running and yelling all around.
Wearing a dress that mama wore when she was a baby!

Official 6 month shots.  Such a happy girl!
