We ran over to the county fair to check out Kendree's elephant artwork and Devynee's seal. They were so excited to find them! We also enjoyed checking out all the animals!
Checked off the last two "destinations" on our summer list with a visit to the state capitol building and the state museum today. We got some walking in and got to practice our "inside voices" a lot. Since we were the youngest people in the capitol by about 50 years, we livened the place up a bit.
I hope she never stops smiling this squinchy-nosed smile!
Had the best time today at the @simplyonpurpose workshop in Denver. Learned so much and Ronnie and I are ready to step up our parenting game. A major bonus was seeing Bethany and Casey Jackman.
Big news in the Lopez household!
One of our last summer hurrahs was a tie dye session. The kids loved it and mom even survived. The laundry of 8 tie dye shirts (mom and dad's not pictured) is northing to scoff at.
We spent the morning teaching Devynee to ride a two-wheeler. By the end of our 1.5 hours there, she was riding like a pro! The rest of the kids enjoyed getting one paved road riding in as well. Probably one of the only downsides of where we lives is the dirt roads for biking. Especially when you are just learning.
First day of school! We have 6th, 4th, 2nd and Pre-K this year. Hallee also needed to hold a sign, though "mom school" is the only school she's attending. They were all so excited and ready to go! Mom only teared up waling out of the building so we're calling that a win.
