4th of July fun! We had a great time with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Our house is the best lookout spot to see many, many, many fireworks and we love it!

The blanket is like a baby prison when you don't like the feel of grass!

Devynee got to spend two wonderful days with her best friend, Saya, and then had to say goodbye. Goodbye's are the worst! By the end, they had their mom's crying as well.

She won't watch a movie or even a tv show, but give this girl some play dough and she'll play for hours!

We just said goodbye to these wonderful grandparents and wish we could have kept them here longer!

Easton has been enjoying swim team and doing great! Here's his leg of the freestyle relay. He's in the neon orange shorts.

Nine months! This always feels like such a milestone as it is the same time out as they were in! Hallee is a joy! She sleeps through the night and naps like a champ. She doesn't seem to care what we are doing and just is along for the ride. Stranger danger has come into play this month which is a bummer. Hallee is crawling everywhere and I find her all over the house. She will pull up to standing but isn't moving anywhere once she is up. She is mostly stranded at that point actually. At her doctor appointment she was 27.5 inches long (40th %tile) and 16 lbs 10 oz (30th %tile).

I got a little excited and forgot I was filming, so forgive the middle section of this video, but Easton had a walk-off double this evening to put his team into the championship game (of the consolation bracket). My mama nerves almost can't handle things like this. Wanting him to succeed and do his best but also knowing that next time, he could just as easily have been the third out to end the game with a very different outcome.  Tonight though, cheers all around!!!

And there you have it! World Series Champions! The Angels had a great game and I'm so proud of all of them. Hooray to a great season and hooray that it's over.

This guy (caught mid-laugh) turned the big 6-0 today and we got to celebrate him! He's seriously one of the best and it was great to let him know that as best we could.

Ready for a little CFD parade action! We're hoping to spot Easton with the cub scouts!

Our first egg! Soon those 14 chickens are gonna keep me rollin' in the good stuff. (Store bought egg for size comparison-these first eggs will be smaller for a bit).

Easton's Cub Scout pack was able to help with the flag today at the rodeo. WE enjoyed our time with Uncle Jordan and good friends. Always love some time at CFD. It poured at the end of the rodeo and that free bandana came in handy to keep Brynlee's head dry.

One of the very best parts of CFD is getting to see this lady while her other half works the rodeo everyday. Our kids line up so well and play together like best friends. (not pictured, two grumpy babies).

Kids getting bored with sidewalk chalk? Have them lay down, trace their bodies and then they get to color themselves! Guaranteed to last longer than pretty much anything else (sidewalk chalk related anyway). #happyhint thanks to my sister Erica.

I don't think Hallee is upset about being the 5th child. Endless playmates and entertainment.

We had our first swim of the summer today! I'd say a 86 degree day calls for it. Brynlee was embracing her inner mermaid and I obviously caught Dev at a bad time. :) We love our pool and mom was just happy to know that she can take 5 kids alone every once in a while.

Hallee baby is 8 months old! Hallee loves to move! She is very close to traditional crawling and will go two or three steps (crawls?) before she gots back to her normal "plank then lunge" way of scooting. Hallee is sleeping thru the night (8pm-6am) and likes to nap in her crib. She is a sitting pro and loves when her siblings entertain her. No one can make her laugh harder than they do. Hallee loves her daddy and expects him to pick her up the instant he walks in from work. Hallee is getting more cautious with strangers but is happy to tag along with all of her siblings as long as mom is close. 8 months sure have flown by!

Day four of swim lessons meant that Brynlee finally did more than sit on the stair and watch the other kids.

Cute baby laughs, squeals and clapping! She really is the best!

Happy Father's Day to THE best! We are so grateful you are ours! Thanks for all you do and all you are!

Kendree at bat. She is doing great at softball this year and having lots of fun.

Baseball season has us loving DumDum suckers, stolen ring pops and sleeping in the car. These two littles are seriously troopers.

He's home! We were very excited to welcome Elder Lindstrom back to Wyoming today!

Family pictures this morning and we all survived to tell the tale! Some of us were happier about it than others.

With all of the family in town for Jordan's Homecoming, we spent Saturday evening out at the ranch. Grandpa wore a too small helmet, conversation and company was great and the mosquitos were out in hoards. Such fun on a beautiful day!

Monday we headed to Scottsbluff with friends to go to the zoo! The lion had a lot to say and we were able to cool off in the splash pad.

Videos from June 2017

Kendree at bat. In her league, they get three pitches off the tee and then a "coach toss."

Hallee squealing and being cute.

Easton's first swim meet.  This was his freestyle event.

Kendree at bat again!

Devynee "jumps" off the diving board.  She hates this part of lessons and I'm the mean mom that makes her do it.

Brynlee "jumps" off the diving board.  She was significantly calmer.

Devynee up to bat.  In her league, they get three coach pitches and then the tee.

Easton up to bat.

Hallee loves the selfie camera (at an indoor swim meet so it is SO loud).

Daddy and Hallee playing.

Random Pictures June 2017

Baseball season dominates our lives in June.  Easton love being on the Angels and loved having his dad as a coach!

Baby food pouches are seriously THE best.

We got to see Aunt Sarah! She viewed some games with us and we loved every second.  Brynlee insisted on putting on Sarah's sunglasses upside down.

A sneaky photo by one of the girls.  Cute Hallee and distracted mama.

That tiny person in red and white pants in the middle of this picture is Devynee.

And here she is, up to bat (gray sweatshirt added now).

Kendree playing catcher.

Ronnie's childhood friend Shaun drove through on his cross country move.  They got to have lunch together!

Tiny Devynee, standing on 3rd base.

Typical day at the Lopez house.  Kids everywhere, laundry waiting to be folded, Brynlee playing with her nesting dolls.  This day was a bonus because Grandpa and Grandma Lopez were visiting!

Cheesy girl. The blanket kind of contained her at games because she didn't love grass.

Daddy and Hallee. Be still my heart.
