Random Pictures for October

Easton with all of his Bronco gear.  He is a fan.

The beautiful Fort Collins Temple.

Lots of soccer games! Kendree is really improving.

Hallee fell asleep on Grandpa's shoulder and then had her hand band fall down as a sleep mask.

Devynee took my phone for a few pictures.  Grandma...

Brynlee...

Grandpa....

Mama was unsuccessful in getting a smile, or even a happy look!

 More Kendree!

Snuggling this little one is pretty much my entire agenda this weekend.  Sounds perfect if I say so myself.

Occasionally this little one gives us a look at her big gray eyes.  Also, we did decide on her middle name. Hallee Marie.

Most of the time, Brynlee thinks this big sister gig isn't too shabby.

These guys seem to have made a semi-permanent home in the neighborhood. So far, they seem to be win-win as they have only been eating the pair grass and weeds and are fun to watch.

Wide-eyed and. 9 days old! We sure love our Hallee!

The family rule is that you can start tagging along on hunts after you are 8, since by that time you can keep up and not whine when the hiking gets tough. Easton had a pretty great first hunt, since he got to see daddy get a deer.

We got to hang out with these two cute girls (and their mama) today! So great to see them!

Four generations! Hallee got to meet her Grandma Great and hang out with Grandma today. So nice to see everyone as they passed through town!

Miss Hallee had her first bath today! She loved that warm water and soft towel underneath her (best thing every for bathing new babies).

This sweet child turned TWO today! Unfortunately, she has had a stomach bug for the last two days and was not up for celebrations. We postponed her family party and instead toasted her with pedialyte and crackers. Brynlee is a spunky, fun girl who we love to death. Now, to sanitize the house and keep the sickness to one kid. (Ha!)

Having a 2 week old means trading off sessions for the Fort Collins Temple dedication. Easton and I were able to go together this morning inside the temple and it was amazing. Something neither one of us may ever experience again. (Also, Hallee took a bottle like she was born to do it and made my mommy guilt disappear as soon as I knew that).

A little Saturday evening napping.

We finally celebrated Brynlee today and she loved it. Presents galore, a flower cake and the spotlight on her, just like she likes it. Brynlee has had a month full of changes but is doing pretty good for a two year old. She loves her new sister, just isn't quite as sure about how much time mom (and hence she) is spending at home. Previously, Brynlee was my errand running buddy pretty much every morning while Dev is at preschool. We'll find our new normal soon. In the meantime, we'll read a million books just like Brynlee likes.

 Someone found mama's mascara...

Apparently, dad was being a little hard on Brynlee last night (in Kendree's opinion anyway). (The word that starts with n is supposed to be "nicer.")

A little sleepy half smile from this "Wickedly Cute" girlie. If only the news about how night time is going was as pleasant as this is to look at. Hallee is not winning brownie points. I am surviving on no sleep, Diet Dr. Pepper, tears and chanting "it will get better, it will get better, it HAS to get better."

It was nice while it lasted. After five months, Brynlee has finally figured out that she can open the pantry doors at the bottom (the handles are too hight for her to reach). Let the unsupervised snacking begin!

Pumpkin carving 2016.

We had a costume dress rehearsal when we went to visit Grandma today. Anna, Elsa, Olaf and the grim reaper (he wanted a creepy but not too creepy costume). Darn him for getting older and having opinions.

Hallee Marie is one month old today! She has been a challenging baby, but we sure do love her! She adores the older kids because she adores being held and they are happy to oblige. Night time continues to be a challenge and she is my spittiest baby by far, so she gets lots of outfit changes! Hallee is a champion eater and is more and more alert during the day.

Two refs and their basketball. (Kids have a hard time taking non-blurry pictures and I gave up).

Brother and Sister. Also, they grow a little from one month to 8.75 years.

Ronnie gets criticized, and I am "osum." I guess Kendree has her favorite picked.

Devynee Anna, Easton Grim Reaper, Kendree Elsa, and Brynlee Olaf are off Trick or Treating! Hallee and mom are laying low and passing out candy.

Brynlee turns TWO!

Once Brynlee was over her stomach flu, we got to celebrate her birthday!  Good thing that when you are two, you have no idea what day it is!  Brynlee loved being the center of attention and getting to open presents and have cake!

Brynlee takes the cake, speaking of, when it comes to independence.  She can talk like a champ and will figure out a way to get what she wants.  She is my climber and only does things when and if it is her idea. She loves her daddy and loves to read books, play with play dough and color (mainly on body parts with pen). We love our Brynlee Kay!

Pictures from Hallee's Birth

Last day belly - the morning of my induction. Sideways eye glance due to something Ronnie said, I'm sure.

New little Hallee.

She really wanted to eat the blanket.

All ready to go home!

Being loved by big sister Devynee.
