Sweet Miss Hallee is 10 months old! She is so fun! She broke the trend and got her first tooth this month (my other girls were 14+ months). She is handling it pretty well, considering. Hallee is pulling up on everything but just balancing. No walking along furniture yet and she is pretty good at getting down without falling now. She loves her daddy and screams from the minute he walks in the door until he picks her up. She acts shy and looks down when she meets someone new, it is super cute. Hooray for Hallee!
We were a little full in the "burb" for this trip and ended up dropping a few things at grandma's house for them to bring to the reunion later. Poor Dev had these boxes falling on her the whole way from Cheyenne to Laramie.
We've had a busy few days in Utah Valley while daddy worked in SLC. We had a chance to catch up with our good friends from law school. Easton and TJ have been buddies since pretty much the day they were born! It was so great to see them play together after five years apart. I loved visiting with Rachel and Jeff as well. The wives of Ronnie's law school buddies were some of my greatest gifts and strengths through those three years of law school. They are now forever friends.
We also got to see Lindsey and Patty and their kids (11 between the three of us!). It was so great to catch up. I'm so grateful for these friends! #allgirlsexceptpooreaston
The splash pad with cousin Desi was a highlight as well. It's HOT in Utah and us poor Wyomingites are melting a bit.
Brynlee's vacation sleeping adventures. This is the first trip that we haven't done a crib or pack n play for Bryn and she is still adjusting. She wound up under the bed the first night (a pillow barricade was then erected) and decided to bunk with the big kids the second night.
We had the opportunity to tour the MTC today! It was great to see inside and see all the missionaries hard at work learning! The kids had so many questions and were thrilled to ride a bus. I loved the light fixture in the new addition. Afterward we stopped by the stadium and happened upon an open house of the BYU store inside the stadium. Free treats for everyone!
We had to document our visits with some of the best people on earth! Grandma and Grand Dad Nickell (who were not home at the same time today) and Grammy. I know my kids and I will treasure these pictures so I try to take them every time we visit!
Kendree and Easton loved fishing yesterday! Dev went for the morning but elected to come home for the afternoon. They even ate some for dinner!
While the big kids played with Daddy, Brynlee, Hallee and I had a nice day at the Colucci's. We birdwatcher and did some swinging.
Had the opportunity to do a session at the Star Valley temple with my love yesterday. Thanks to Erica for tackling the 8! kids!
Yesterday, this sweet man was suddenly called home to be with his Heavenly Father again. The hurt and tears are so fresh still, but I am so thankful to know that I will see him again someday. Families are forever!
We received the tragic news of Ray passing Wednesday evening. Ronnie flew to California first thing Thursday morning (dad drove him). We tried to have some fun at our family reunion, even with sad hearts and a missing daddy. Day one of the Lindstrom Family Reunion 2017 involved checking out the "red barn" we stayed in, hot tubbing and Rendezvous Beach.
Pie in the Face was a favorite of the kids. They even played after we ran out of whipped cream!
Day two was spent at Marina beach renting a trampoline and jet ski. It was much cooler than we had hoped for, but we still had lots of fun. More hot tubbing and game playing when we got back to the house. The adults went and got raspberry shakes and played Telestrations which was so fun!
Our last morning at Bear Lake! It was a great reunion. Anytime you get to stay in a house with a slide INSIDE is a great time. Poor Jaxon was not feeling picture time.
Ronnie and Easton enjoyed a game at Angels Stadium last night. Much to Easton's dismay, he didn't get an autograph, but I think a 10-1 win helped soothe his pain.
And tonight, a game with lots of family! We love the Angels (ehem, Mike Trout, ehem) and we love watching live baseball! So great to be together!
Spent a wonderful morning at the beach with family! Shell collecting, wave jumping and sand creations. Just what the doctor ordered.
The first day of school is here! Devynee is a big Kindergartener, Kendree is in 2nd and Easton is in 4th! The house is quiet and Brynlee is loving her free reign. This mama didn't even tear up this time.
