Instagram: March 2018

Guys! It's March! Which means it's time for my annual reading of the Book of Mormon in the month of March. I look forward to this every year! I found this awesome schedule at themormonhome.com and am ready to get reading.  Who's in?

Day one of our roommate trip 2018 (miss you Bethany!) included a stop at Buc-ee's on our way to Waco! We stopped at the silos, shopped around the store, enjoyed cupcakes and explored the city. We were a little nervous at our Airbnb in the evening so we barricaded the door to thwart any intruders.

Day two included Magnolia Table, Baylor and Gordoughs. Sleeping in, taking it slow and all the chatting was really the best!

Day three of our trip was some time at the San Antonio temple (such beautiful stained glass!), the Alamo, the River Walk, Market Street and Paloma Blanca for dinner. So fun!

Sometimes, it's a four necklace kind of day!

31 weeks with baby #6! I am feeling good minus the need for adjustments to fix my right leg every 2 weeks or so. I'm still sleeping well but rolling over is starting to feel like a major accomplishment. Baby is moving like crazy and I love every second of that.

We had Aunt Sarah visit us for a day this week while she was on her spring break. It was lovely and my kids all wish it could have been longer. Hallee sobbed as she drove away. We love Sarah!

Kendree presented on the Allosaurus last week and the little girls and I got to tour the museum they had set up and learn a lot!

Happy Easter from the Lopez kids! We wore our Easter clothes a week early due to General Conference next week. These kiddos are the best. It's hard to believe that in 8 short weeks another girl will be added to the end of the line.

We dyed our eggs for FHE last night and had a great time! (Hallee was conveniently in bed).

Easton had his music program yesterday and played the role of "Joey" who isn't good at sports. He did great! (black nike sweatshirt in the middle)

My annual reading of the Book of Mormon in March is complete! Every year I want to give up a few different times during the month. This year was a particular challenge as I didn't use any audio and had to make the time to physically read about 20 pages a day. I love this book and know that it is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It is the word of God. I am blessed by the teachings contained within it and learn and grow as I study it every day.

Ronnie sent me this picture from Kendree's birthday dinner very late, but Kendree loved her meal at Guadalajara!

Dress ups with friends.  There is nothing better.

Devynee read several books to Hallee.  It was the most precious thing ever.

Trampoline jumping in March.  We do not let good weather waste around here.

See? Park time before we pick up the kids from school.

My little helpers this morning!

Ronnie and I are in the middle of a getaway made possible by my amazing mother-in-law. Four days to ourselves has been so great. I wouldn't want to be with anyone else. And I think a Hoover Dam tour is a pretty great way to spend Valentine's Day. (Now to love on my five little valentines when we get home tomorrow)

Kendree Rae, our energetic, loving, most helpful baby girl turned EIGHT today! She chose to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was baptized by her daddy. It was a wonderful day with many family members and dear friends in attendance to celebrate with her. Kendree is the best and her mama's best helper at 8. She is a wonderful example to her sisters and a friend to all. We love our Kendree!!!

We're officially back to reality, so I suppose it's time to document our trip. Ronnie and I had a wonderful four days in Vegas. We hit lots of highlights: In N Out, Hash House a GoGo, Tournament of Kings, Cirque, the temple, family, Hoover Dam, the strip, Bellagio water show and sleeping in every morning. It was a wonderful trip in every way!

28 weeks with baby 6 and I'm feeling really good. I love feeling baby's movements all day long. I'm sleeping great on my new purple mattress and that has been a game changer for this pregnancy. I just started having some hip/leg pain but the chiropractor fixed that right up! I need to get moving on my baby preparations as I haven't done a thing yet. Also, naming humans is hard.

Catching up on the last of the pictures from Kendree's Baptism. Kendree had wonderful support from family and friends. Here we have pictures of the Lindstrom side, the Lopez side, grandparents, Aunt Sandy and our family. It was a great day!!!

Why is KaLee posting a picture of a bowl lined with aluminum foil? Because it's my latest #happyhint ! If you can't find a container or can to drain the fat from your meat into, then line any bowl with foil and drain into that. Then, after it hardens, close it up and chuck it! So easy and no mess!
