April 2018

When I start taking pictures of kids, suddenly everyone needs their picture taken as well.

Muscles in the morning.

When Brynlee has gymnastics, Hallee gets to color on the bench.

Dad and Kendree got to go to an event at South High School and painted pictures of inspiring words for a display.

Naps on the couch.

Brynlee knows just what is supposed to happen at the doctor's office.

I'm not sure exactly what is happening here, but Hallee sure is cute!

Brynlee hugging a tree.  She insisted I get pictures and videos of this moment.

This sweet blurry-handed girl had her first Sunday at nursery! (She turned 18 months on March 28th). She was a trooper but prefers to sit on the leaders laps as much as possible. Same goes at home. Hallee is getting so big! She understands everything you say and responds accordingly, but is a girl of few words. She will say Mom, Dad, and no but refuses to say pretty much anything else. She will only nod her head for yes so you have to be looking at her when you ask a question. In fact, if she doesn't want to try to say something she will open and close her mouth while no sound is coming out. The stinker. She does sign please, thank you, all done, more and milk. I think she's waiting to talk in sentences, just as a few of her sisters have done. When she is mad, she stomps her little feet as fast as she can. She loves to get into her older sisters rooms without supervision so she can play with whatever she wants. Hallee takes one nap a day and sleeps through the night. She has 8 teeth and currently 4 molars are making their way in. We sure do love our Hallee!

Sometimes you are blessed with a friend who just gets you. Gets when you are just venting and need a listening ear, gets when she needs to step in and discipline your kid because you are dealing with a different one, gets your corny jokes and laughs accordingly, just gets you. And then, sometimes, that friend has to move away and your heart hurts. It doesn't seem real yet, and I think I'm going to have a bit of an adjustment period, but it will be fine because I've trained her to be a phone talker over the last 8 years. Love ya Chelsea!

Sister pictures in the morning.

Pigtails with a little "cheese"!

36 weeks baby! For the past 8 weeks, the baby has been getting a lot of doctors care. She was measuring quite small at 28 weeks and they wanted to make sure she wasn't intrauterine growth restricted, so we had twice a week non-stress tests in addition to a weekly ultrasound and visit with a specialist, but today she officially graduated from the specialist's care! She measured at 23rd %tile for size and is passing all tests with flying colors. Hooray for baby girl!

Videos March 2018

Instagram: March 2018

Guys! It's March! Which means it's time for my annual reading of the Book of Mormon in the month of March. I look forward to this every year! I found this awesome schedule at themormonhome.com and am ready to get reading.  Who's in?

Day one of our roommate trip 2018 (miss you Bethany!) included a stop at Buc-ee's on our way to Waco! We stopped at the silos, shopped around the store, enjoyed cupcakes and explored the city. We were a little nervous at our Airbnb in the evening so we barricaded the door to thwart any intruders.

Day two included Magnolia Table, Baylor and Gordoughs. Sleeping in, taking it slow and all the chatting was really the best!

Day three of our trip was some time at the San Antonio temple (such beautiful stained glass!), the Alamo, the River Walk, Market Street and Paloma Blanca for dinner. So fun!

Sometimes, it's a four necklace kind of day!

31 weeks with baby #6! I am feeling good minus the need for adjustments to fix my right leg every 2 weeks or so. I'm still sleeping well but rolling over is starting to feel like a major accomplishment. Baby is moving like crazy and I love every second of that.

We had Aunt Sarah visit us for a day this week while she was on her spring break. It was lovely and my kids all wish it could have been longer. Hallee sobbed as she drove away. We love Sarah!

Kendree presented on the Allosaurus last week and the little girls and I got to tour the museum they had set up and learn a lot!

Happy Easter from the Lopez kids! We wore our Easter clothes a week early due to General Conference next week. These kiddos are the best. It's hard to believe that in 8 short weeks another girl will be added to the end of the line.

We dyed our eggs for FHE last night and had a great time! (Hallee was conveniently in bed).

Easton had his music program yesterday and played the role of "Joey" who isn't good at sports. He did great! (black nike sweatshirt in the middle)

My annual reading of the Book of Mormon in March is complete! Every year I want to give up a few different times during the month. This year was a particular challenge as I didn't use any audio and had to make the time to physically read about 20 pages a day. I love this book and know that it is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It is the word of God. I am blessed by the teachings contained within it and learn and grow as I study it every day.
