Instagram: January 2019

54 degrees in January means target practice with a Christmas gift.

Easton and Ronnie had the opportunity to go do some family names at the temple last night. Easton was baptized for his great-grandpa! He asked if we could go again today, so I guess he had a fun time.

Grandma Lopez was able to visit after Christmas and stayed for Easton's ordination. We loved having her with us!

On the way home from running errands Thursday, I heard a "clunkity bangity" under that car and thought, "I hope that doesn't cause a flat." A mile later the low pressure light came on and we were close enough to home to make it. I pulled in and saw this... What are the chances of this happening? So crazy. In good news, the tire was fixed easily and we got a new set of pliers out of the deal.

Sydnee is SEVEN months old! (A few weeks ago) We are a little slow on the uploading over here. Sydnee does not like solid food. She gags like you are trying to feed her poison no matter what food it is. We just keep trying though! She is a content baby and is rolling all over the floor. She uses her pivots and strategic rolling to get wherever she wants. Sydnee loves to see anyone in her family and always has a smile (non-family members are not always so lucky). She is napping well but enjoys seeing her mom 2-3 times a night. Uggggh. We love our happy Sydnee girl!

We had family pictures done over Thanksgiving and they could not have gone better. The weather was perfect and the kids did great!

Another trip to the temple with my love, another selfie. Love being in the Lord's house and the spirit that is felt there.

Super Hallee!!!

Sydnee at 8 months. 8!!! Sydnee is still the happiest and most content baby during the day. She will roll around and army crawl all over the family room for an hour or more if she is rested and fed. Sydnee takes 2 solid naps a day and goes down awake and puts herself to sleep. The 3rd nap is a hit or miss depending on what we have going on. At night, she continues to get up 2-3 times a night. Sydnee is starting to enjoy baby food and is getting better without her mama to put her to bed at night (when I have YW, etc). She loves her siblings and will kick and kick and kick if they pay attention to her on the floor. Sydnee is starting to explore outside of the family room and it won't be long until the baby gate goes back up.

I thought Brynlee and her friend were play together so nicely in her room, then went in to check on them and found them cuddled up watching her tablet.

Brynlee and Hallee enjoying time with our friend Rylee at Easton's basketball game.

Sydnee is officially on the move! I found her like this while I unloaded a grocery trip.  The baby gate went up two days later.

Instagram: December 2018

Sydnee is six months old! She rolls all over the room exploring and loves to see what is going on. We're working on sitting and have tried rice cereal and some sweet potatoes. Sydnee sleeps in her car seat and swing in the day and swaddled and in her crib at night. She is a content little thing and we sure love her.

Easton was asked to speak in our stake conference on December 2nd. Elder John N. Craig of the seventy was presiding. Easton spoke about following the covenant path and did an awesome job!

Happy, Happy Birthday to our Easton! Eleven years old and such a great boy!  We love his and his silly ways. He got to play in a band concert on his birthday (welcome to a December birthday, buddy) and did a great job.

Brynlee loves to hold Sydnee and Sydnee loves to tolerate it.

Santa Letters 2018

The lighting is horrible in these pictures but I have to document what a good baby I have. She was in her car seat yesterday for six hours total in the car and at sibling holiday programs and just napped and was an angel. We love Sydnee and her happy demeanor.

We finished our first big puzzle as a family (neither Ronnie or I thought we were puzzle people and then stayed up way too late several nights working on it). The kids were no proud of it, we have to document it. #yesonepieceismissing

We had a great play date with friends last week before one of them moved (Elsa). Brynlee has already been asking to play at Keelee's house.

The older four kids got to ride the Holiday Express train a few weeks ago. Brynlee started out "hiding" from Santa and then ended up in his arms.  They had a great time!

We got to visit with the real Santa on Saturday night at the ward party. The kids all did great this year!  Not a crying one among them.

Merry Christmas from our loud and awesome crew! (This picture has me wondering how all my babies got so big!)

Hallee got trapped in Sydnee's walker and we had to document before we rescued her. Poor Hallee!

Bryn hanging the first ornament on the "breakable" tree this year. This happened a few weeks back, but I had to document.

We had a great Christmas Even. Had our Bethlehem dinner with the Elders and then acted out the nativity story. Brynlee was Mary, Daddy was Joseph and Sydnee was baby Jesus (obvs). Easton played the coveted Donkey role and mama, Devynee and Hallee were shepherds. Kendree was the Angel and our sweet Elders were our wisemen. Then, we loaded up to go look at lights!

Christmas as documented by Hallee. Not too shabby if I do say so. Two year olds are so funny, and frustrating as all get out.

A little sisterly scripture time (you can almost feel the "cheese" coming from Hallee), daddy and Sydnee cuddling during church and a picture of daddy drawn by Brynlee.

Easton earned his Webelos in October and his Arrow of Light just before his birthday. He has worked so hard and we are so proud of all he has done. Due to the new church age changes, he will bypass 11 year old scouts completely and be a member of the deacon's quorum and a scout in January!

2018 has been a great year! Excited to see what 2019 will bring! #2018bestnine
