Brynlee loves bath time! Just a little example. She never stops making happy noises for the entire time she is in there.

Brynlee: 11 months
At 11 months, Brynlee is busy! She takes two naps a day and is ALL over the house when she is awake. She is a lightening fast crawler and pulls up on anything and everything. She is starting to balance on her own and we aren't far from walking now! Brynlee takes the cake as my worst night-time sleeper, getting up anywhere from 2-4 times a night and is up for the day at 6:30 a.m. (she goes to bed at 7:30). Brynlee refuses to do any ASL or repeat words to you. She just looks at you like "keep doing that mom, you look like an idiot." She loves stuffed animals and doesn't really have one favorite but collectively has three stuffed bears that she drags around. The sound "ba" is the only one she will say on command if I say "bear" so I suppose we know where her heart lies. She doesn't even say mama or dada yet.

Family Pictures
My uber talented cousin, Amber, graciously took quick, quick, QUICK family pictures for the Wyo-clan after our reunion at the beginning of August. I love them!
Thanks Amber! You are the best!

Instagram: August 2015
Because MineCraft figures need a home too...
Get ready for a little Instagram overload. We had a great trip to Utah this weekend. Saturday we spent a little time on BYU campus. Such fun memories. It really was like no other time in our lives.
Hanging out with Cosmo. (We had just purchased the hat. It has only left Easton's head to sleep and attend church since).
We had the Lindstrom family reunion this weekend in rainy Utah. First up was the Hogle Zoo. The day was rainy and cool which made for zero crowds and active animals. My kind of zoo trip.
More zoo fun!
Next up was bowling! I lost to Ronnie by one pin, but I guess we still had fun.
Ten and half years ago the pictures only had two people in them. So fun to take our kids to Temple Square.
More temple square.
An awesome afternoon at the pool. Warm, cloud cover, and lots of new friends. Brynlee loves floating in the kiddie pool as it is like a giant water "walker." The perfect size for some practice.
Rub a dub dub...
A little fun at the state museum today! Gotta fulfill all of those "in the summer" promises.
Second Grade, here he comes! Easton was up and chores done an hour before we needed to leave. He tried to play it cool though by telling me that he wasn't that excited. ;)
We couldn't leave this one out! Devynee is ready to rule the roost while the big kids are away.

She is ready! Kendree started Kindergarten this morning and I know she is having the best time. Things are a little quiet around here, but I'm sure we'll all adjust.

A very fun afternoon with friends pretending we are cowboys, I mean, we are, since we live in Wyoming and all, we just rely on friends for the horses.
Random August
It is days like this with friends over to play that I love our gigantic sandbox.
Easton thought his MineCraft figured needed a house...
While the girls wanted pictures of their pedicures.
Ronnie took Easton out golfing at 6 a.m. one morning. Man was he cranky later that day. I finally had to force him to go lay down and about 2 minutes later, this is what I found. Tired boy.
Devynee "jumping" off the diving board at swim.
I had promised the kids all summer that we would go to the state museum. We finally made it the week before school started.
Devynee loved dressing up as a "fancy lady."
Kendree thought this gun belt made a nice scarf.
A picture of Brynlee taken by one of the kids.
Devynee only naps as necessary nowadays. It works out to about once every week to two weeks. She sure is cute when she sleeps though.
Kendree loves her cheetah print and needed a picture of her new backpack to show her cousins in California.
Kendree brought home this puzzle from school and HAD to take a picture to send to her teacher.
Then Devynee needed in on the fun.
Our friends took us out on their horses. It was very fun and reminded me how much of a city girl I really am. I pretend well, but I know NOTHING about horses. It was so fun!

First Day of School
August 25th marked the first day of school! The night before, at family home evening, Ronnie gave each of the kids a father's blessing. We got them to bed on time so they could be rested for the big day.
After getting ready, we took our traditional first day of school pictures.
This amazing girl started kindergarten! It is all-day here (8:35 a.m. to 3:35 p.m.) which makes for a bit of a rough adjustment. The entire family took the kids to school the first day (they ride the bus in the mornings on normal days).
This big boy started 2nd grade. It seems like just yesterday that I was sending him off to kindergarten. Time slow down!
Ronnie is one smart guy. As I was printing out the signs for Kendree and Easton, he suggested that I make something for Devynee to make the morning easier. Thus the "First Day as Mama's Biggest Helper" sign was born.
We pulled up to the school and Kendree immediately saw a friend from church, gave her a hug and went to play in the rocks. It was very cute.
Ronnie and I then had to divide and conquer. He lined up with Easton, took a few pictures and followed him inside.
I think this will be the last year he will let us get away with following him in. :)
Devynee and I lined up with Kendree (a little different place than Easton). to make things easier, they had the parents wave goodbye outside and marched the kids in without us. I didn't even tear up this time. I knew she would have a great day. Since Ronnie was already inside, I had him go take a picture for our records.
The days have been a little long without my favorite 5 and 7 year olds around, but they have had such great reports each day and I know they love it. Devynee is making the adjustment little by little. She is a little lost without Kendree throughout the day, but does enjoy free reign of all toys, etc.

The New House
In June, we purchased a lot to build a home. We are being our own general contractors to save some money, but that means that things move slowly. This month, we finally broke ground. We now have a hole in the ground and are ready for the forms and foundation to be poured.
Ronnie and my dad went out and spray painted the house on the lot so the excavation could begin. It looked TINY on that three acre lot.
Panoramic of the view. We sure do love that wide open space and Wyoming skies!
City view.
The big machines.
Inside the hole.
Some cute kids I know.
The finished hole (which looks significantly bigger than the spray painted house). :)
