Once she figured out which snap pop needed to be popped, she was an expert at the step-pop technique.

Devynee's tee ball season ended at the end of June. She was a typical 4 year old and sure was fun to watch.

Easton has had a great season of baseball. He always tries his hardest and runs his fastest.  In short, he takes it very seriously.

Pigtails!!!

29 weeks in all its glory. Feeling great and so fun to feel this little boy or girl move around all the time.  Also, LOVING my Loopy phone case. Game changer for this busy mama. Seriously, google them and check them out.

Coach Ronnie and some of the World Series Champion Mets! (read: winners of the losers bracket) But, they got trophies, so that's all that really matters.

This is going down this weekend and I am so excited!!!

Excited is a bit of an understatement. Kenny Chesney with my love is a pretty great night.

Our parade watching crew. Give me a cloudy, cool, foggy, misty morning anytime. This crowds were non-existent and no one was melting.

Watching McCoy try and get to the horse droppings in the middle of the road was possibly my favorite part of the parade.

Our hiking crew at Vedauwoo today (minus grandma who is taking the picture). Most of the kids really enjoyed it (with Devynee as the exception). Easton would have climbed all day and Brynlee was crazily fearless.

The largest hail I've seen since we moved to Cheyenne. Quite the storm.

Five out of seven windshields did not survivie the storm.  and we'll just say that the cars are not without dents. Every year during CFD we get some pretty good hailstorms. This one takes the cake.

A little pinata action finished off our wonderful Lindstrom family reunion. We were so happy to host in Cheyenne this year and it was great hanging out with family!

Somehow I missed posting about Friday's reunion activities. We went to the rodeo and the kids enjoyed shaking it during songs, watching, playing and sleeping.

After the rodeo, we hit up a few rides at the carnival. Devynee was terrified at first and then was so sad we couldn't stay longer. Kendree (bottom video, right hand slide) got some real air when the blanket took off before she was ready. It was awesome.

Lindstrom Family Reunion 2016

We were able to host the Lindstrom Family Reunion for 2016.  It was so nice to have our new house and all the bathrooms for people to spread out into.  We definitely could not have hosted in our old place.

Everyone started arriving Wednesday, July 27th and the festivities officially started on Thursday, the 28th.

The youngest three enjoyed meals in their high chair line up.

While some of the boys golfed, the rest of us went to the "horse" parade as my kids call it.

McCoy really, really, REALLY wanted to get out there with everyone else.

The weather was perfect!  Misty, cool, cloudy but didn't rain.  The crowds were way less than normal and it was amazing.

After the parade, we went hiking at Vedauwoo.

The sun had come out and it was gorgeous!

Brynlee insisted on climbing on and over everything...

And on walking by herself "thankyouverymuch."

The kids could not have loved this activity more.  It made me commit to taking my kids here more often.

On Friday, we went to the rodeo. Devynee must have been worn out the previous day, because she fell asleep on Sarah's lap.

Eventually, we ended up moving up to the upper bleachers for some more space.  Dan and Ronnie became the baby napping stations.

Easton cheered and danced his heart out.

Finally, it was time for the wild horse races (my favorite!).

After the rodeo, we hit the carnival for a few rides, but the clouds and skies were looking ominous, so we ended up high tailing it out of there to head home.

It was a good thing we left the carnival, but our cars did not fare any better at our house as the hail storm that showed up a few minutes later was INSANE. Biggest hail I have ever seen in real life. And yes, that is a quarter in my brothers hand.

Most windshields were cracked badly and dents were every where!

The next morning, we ventured down to the Terry Bison Ranch on the state line and went on the train ride tour.  We saw camels...

and smiling faces!

And then had the opportunity to feed the buffalo!  It was pretty crazy.  They sure do love that food!

Then, inside the gift shop, they had a jackalope and bison for the kids to "ride."

Finally, we had a piñata party right before everyone headed home.

We had a great time and were so happy to have all of our family here together!
