Devynee's Birthday

When our sweet little one turned one, we were in Utah celebrating Thanksgiving with extended family, so we kept the celebration low-key.  A few pictures, a few presents and no cake or anything!  She did get wished a Happy Birthday by pretty much every one of the 40+ family members in attendance, so that counts for something. :)

Aunt Erc and Uncle Dan juggled the three babies in the family.
Birthday girl with her proud parents.
 Opening presents
The tissue paper was the best part and she didn't even eat very much.
Then, on December 1st, we had her "real" party at my parent's house.  We opened gifts again...

And Kendree and Easton had a hard time sharing Devynee's toys. :)
Then, we celebrated with a giant cupcake cake!
Mom blew out the candle (naturally, the one year old tried to grab the flame, but I moved it in time).
Devynee looked at all of us wondering what to do next.
 And then she dug in!
She didn't even get that messy, all things considered, but was very mad when I decided she had enough and took the cake away.
Target's clearance section determined the theme of this party - the circus!

Although the party was over by the time I remembered to take these, so they are missing two banners and the cupcake toppers.  Oh well!

As usual, Devynee was spoiled and loved being the center of attention.  She is such a little thing and we love her!  Now if we could get to her sign, or say words or really do anything but that high pitched scream she does, we would be set!
