I can't conquer the skinny headband. You know the ones that look like this. That everyone is wearing while playing sports, working out, or even just as a cute accessory.
I can. not. wear. them.
I tried putting my hair up first and then adding the headband. This led to a bubble like phenomenon.
Then I tried putting the headband in first and THEN pulling up my hair. Gross--that is all I can say.
So someone. Someone with knowledge of the workings of hair (Lindsey?). Please, please please help me. I want to be cool. I really, really want to be cool, but the headband is working against me.

Please someone have an answer to this! I've never been able to wear headbands that go all the way around (my girls can't either except when they were babies and bald) - my hair sticks out funny and the headband slips all day. Maybe my head (and their heads) are shaped too round in the back? If I wear a headband, it has to be those cool plastic ones that don't go all the way around the head.
i have this exact same problem! mine will slowly slide off the back of my head within minutes, i've always figured it's because my skull isn't shaped right (a flat back without anything for the headband to hold onto). the only semi-solution i found was to make my ponytail as low as possible so the headband could anchor itself there. i've also tried wearing 2 at once, which seems to help. (though all headbands leave me with a headache.) the only time i have ever had the patience to leave them on my head was in hawaii when it was either: annoying headband, or wild frizzy uncontrollable curly flyaway bangs.
Okay. I can't wear them, either, and I thought it was just me.
Someone has some 'splainin to do. Cause the words
CONSPIRACY THEORY
are now echoing through my brain.
Oh my gosh KaLee! This happens to me ALL the time. My sister wears them and I think they are so cute but I have a flat head ( I guess like Bethany) and they just slide. :( SAD!!!
