Brynlee learned how to do the fist bump thing on Big Hero 6.

Easton and Brynlee playing catch during Devynee's tee ball game (kids playing together nicely is the best).

Last days of school

Friday, May 27th was the last day of school for Easton and Kendree.  Devynee had finished preschool a week before that, but mom didn't take pictures until about the same time for everyone.

Kendree's Kindergarten Graduation

The cutest Kindergarten graduate you ever did see. Kendree and the rest of the graduating Kindergarteners sang us a few darling songs and then we got to see them all receive their diplomas. We are so proud of Kendree and all of her work this school year.  She is an amazing girl who can do anything she puts her mind to.

18 weeks

Pregnancy as you get older is no joke.  I'm only 33 and I often think of all of the women that have had babies when they are older than me.  They are rock stars.  Around 15 weeks, my right hip and butt started acting up all the time.  My leg would go numb when I moved it certain ways and at times I had no movement of my leg possible.  Thankfully, the chiropractor fixed me right up after a few weeks of visits and I began to feel much better.

Other than that pain, I have no complaints.  My sickness was very minimal this time around.  The second trimester is always my favorite.

Names as usual are a struggle.  I really dislike naming babies.  So much pressure. At least we have a long way to go before we need to worry about that.

Curious about previous pregnancies?

Random Pictures from April

This cute girl lost her 2nd tooth this month.  She is thrilled to be catching up to her brother.

Our Mazda, which we bought and drove off the lot with 36 miles on it, hit 100,000 miles.  Quite the milestone.

The New House: April

Quite a bit of progress was made on cabinets this month. [Kitchen sink area]

Kitchen pantry cupboards.

Another view.

We had some cute visitors. Cousins came to check out the house and hung out on the mudroom bench for a minute.

Outside progress was made as well!  The rock is going up!

After I told my cabinet guy that I was putting in a farmhouse sink, he had to completely redo that cabinet.  I felt pretty bad, but I already had the sink, so there was no backing out of it.

Master Bathroom cabinets

Tile is all done around the tub...

And the shower is done too (the bench is kind of hard to make out in the back, but it is there.

Bench and shampoo cubby at the back of the shower.

Basement all painted and done.

Baby #5 on the way!
And for those who wonder:
Yes, this was on purpose.
Yes, we know how this happens.
Yes, we are excited!

Brynlee was apparently not going to make it past lunch time today. I love that she used a balloon instead of her favorite blanket.

Sometimes you catch your baby "reading" (complete with babbling) to herself and have to document it.

A Kendree story that has to be told:
Scene: Kendree, Brynlee and I are snuggling on the couch and Kendree is stroking Brynlee's arm.
Kendree: I wish my arm was as soft as Brynlee's is.
Mom: Babies have really soft skin, your skin was that soft when you were a baby.
Kendree: But it isn't anymore.
Mom: Well, you are getting bigger and when you get older you get more hair and your skin has to be a little tougher because you are outside running around, etc.
Kendree (with a look of absolute disbelief on her face): YOU MEAN I AM TURNING INTO A WEREWOLF?!?!?!?

And this is where I had to turn away for a few minutes and compse myself and then continued to reassure her that she was not turning into a werewolf. Phew.

House is getting closer to being done! Rock is almost done on the outside, we're waiting on countertops on the inside and then it's cleaning and carpet (roughly). About a month out from moving!

I got this lovely souvenir last night at the hospital. I issued my formal apology to Ronnie for ever doubting that his kidney stone was as painful as he professed 6 years ago. #somuchworsethanlabor #feelingalotbettertoday #ihavethebestneighborsever

It's hard to tell, but Brynlee scrubbed down this whole scale with great concentration this morning. Such a hard little {naked} worker!

A little church snow-shoveling with dad. #bighelper #sometimes
