My wonderful mother celebrated her birthday yesterday! I won't tell you how old she is (since I would like to remain a part of the family). My dad put on a wonderful dinner and we all gathered as a family. That was so marvelous!
My mom is the greatest! I have enjoyed a true friendship with her for many, many years. Every night in high school, I would come home and tell her all about my day--even if it was already the next day. :) I look back on those conversations with fondness. They were great times to learn, share and vent.
I hope she had a wonderful day yesterday!
