Scene: On the playground, a boy in my sister’s class hits another boy.

Boy2: Mrs. S, Boy1 hit me!
Erc: Boy1, we do not hit. Why did you hit Boy2?
Boy1: Because I like carrots.

And that was the only explanation he ever gave.
