When you drive for seven hours

And visit family, you can't NOT get a picture with the greatest great grandparents in the land.

The kiddos with Grandma-Great and Grand Dad:

And with sweet Grammy:

We had a wonderful Thankgiving weekend. The kids and I left Wednesday morning and rode with my mom and dad to Utah (thanks again for putting up with us).  Ronnie followed about three hours later.  We drove straight to the Mosida Handcart Site (near Elberta, Utah) where my grandparents are serving a mission as the directors.  They were gracious enough to host 35 of us in their house and the lodge and bunkhouse at the handcart site.  It was crazy, loud fun and we enjoyed every minute of it.

We were able to eat delicious food, share new ideas and crafts, let the kids loose (Easton and his cousin Alayna LOVED walking the 1/5 of a mile to the lodge from the house all. by. themselves), touring the LDS church dairy farm and using the metal detector to find the treasure that Grand Dad buried.

We headed back to Pleasant Grove on Saturday morning, ran a few Utah County errands and ate at In-N-Out TWICE.  Ronnie's life is complete for a week or so.

We couldn't have asked for better weather (I didn't even pack the kids' coats!) and it was great to see family that we haven't seen in years. It was a GREAT time.
